2008 Fair Facts
The Miami-Dade County Fair is not part of the county; it is a privately operated, not-for-profit corporation, governed by a volunteer board of directors. During our 2008 Fair, visitor satisfaction was characteristically high: 99% of the sample was "very/somewhat satisfied" with their experience at the Fair. Once again, rides and food were most frequently mentioned as "liked" items. Elephant Ears and Roasted Corn were the favorite foods this year. The audience was overwhelmingly dominated by local Miami-Dade County residents. Most people come to the Fair as part of a group, and the size of an average group was between 4 and 5 persons. Visitors stayed an average of 5 hours at the fair. Data by CLARITYRESEARCH, LLC
